M.R. Gould, M.D.M.R. Gould, M.D. is AMG's senior partner. He started his solo internal medicine practice in 1979. Dr. Gould is a Battle Creek native, graduating from Harper Creek High School, Kellogg Community College and the University of Michigan.

He attended medical school at Wayne State in Detroit, and did his residency at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Dr. Gould received his Internal Medicine Board Certification in 1979. He also received his certification from ISCD as a Certified Clinical Densitometrist in 2003 and is affiliated with Battle Creek Health Systems.

Dr. Gould was a captain in the US Air Force, serving in Misawa, Japan for three years.

Dr. Gould has been married to his wife Linda since 1971. They have four children, two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, Hannah, and a grandson, Quinn.

 

G.B. Lopez, M.D.G.B. Lopez, M.D. started with the Internal Medicine practice in the summer of 1981.

Dr. Lopez was born in Laguna, Philippines where he went to college and did his medical internship. He then came to the USA, did six months of residency training at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, and finished at Hurley Medical Center in Flint where he met Dr. Gould.

Dr. Lopez has completed his designation from the National Committee for Quality Diabetes Care two times, completing his first certification in 2000. There are currently only 92 physicians in Michigan who are certified with NCQA. He also received his certification from ISCD as a Certified Clinical Densitometrist in 2005 and is affiliated with Battle Creek Health Systems.

Dr. Lopez has been married to his wife Polly since 1968. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren: three grandsons (Zander, Landon, and Carter) and one granddaughter (Mariah).
