Associated Medical GroupClinical Supervisor Debbie is the AMG clinic supervisor. She has been with AMG since 1986. She takes care of the X-rays and bone density tests. She is always finding ways to brainstorm and resolve issues with patients, scheduling days off and staffing issues that may occur. She also makes sure all supplies are available and ordered. There doesn't seem to be a problem she cannot fix.

Practice Manager When it comes to multi-tasking, the definition should read Sherry. She is the practice manager for AMG and has been with AMG since 1985. The average day starts at 6:00am when she arrives at the office, and some days not ending before 8:00pm Sherry is also known as "Queen Bee" and rightly so. She choreographs the day with the Drs. schedules, staffing schedules and will still be working away with all her duties while problem solving office dilemmas. We all wonder when she sleeps and what her super power cape looks like!

Front Staff Our front staff will greet you, and after checking you in and getting all your personal and insurance information updated, they let the medical assistants know you are ready. When calling our office, the phones are answered by front staff who can schedule appointments and take medication refill requests. Any clinical questions will be directed to the appropriate staff, if available. If not available, a message is taken and you should hear a response within 24 hours. They also take your co-pay and payments on your account. They will listen to jokes, good and bad and may even tell a few of their own!

Clinical Staff When the medical assistants call you back you will hand your medication bottles to them. They check for necessary refills take your vitals to send to the physicians using EMR. Utilizing the electronic medical records system saves the doctor time so he spends more time focusing on patient needs. We have two physicians in our office and are continually growing. Each doctor has an assigned medical assistant to help assist with your visit. They help you at the end of the office visit by drawing blood, giving injections and will help schedule any tests ordered by your physician.

Billing and Insurance We have a certified coder/biller on staff, who is always reading updates and attending seminars, keeping the practice manager, staff and physicians up to date on any coding changes. When you have questions about your bill, the AMG coder/biller will be happy to assist you.

Electronic Records Custodian/EMR Support Staff When it comes to greasing the proverbial wheel before it squeaks, we call on our EMR custodian who works continually to maintain all EMR information such as current test results, correspondents, faxes and patient files in the EMR system. The EMR Custodian, who also transcribes the Echocardiograms at AMG, works quietly and diligently to ensure consistency with the daily data. The information is then prepared for the AMG staff and physicians to access.
